Greena Colada Smoothie

If you like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain, then make this smoothie. 

Here's my version of this popular cocktail in a healthy greens smoothie. 

Feel free to add some rum if you're not leaving the house. There's fresh greens packed into this smoothie, so that it balances out..... right? 

Side note: I actually hate the rain, and would not be happy if I was caught in the rain while drinking this smoothie.


Ingredients:

1 C packed greens (I like using a blend of spinach, baby kale, and collards)
1 C frozen diced pineapple
1/2 frozen banana
1/3 C plain coconut yogurt
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
6 brazil nuts (or about 10 macadamia nuts)
enough coconut milk to cover the ingredients

Directions:

Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth!

  1. This is by far my most favorite smoothie ever. I used mango instead of pineapple and it still tastes amazing.
